Our strategy work is very different.  We use a method that is clear, repeatable, and understandable.  It is based more on the work of Harvard Professor Michael Porter’s competitive pressures and combined with opportunities to address, adjust, or improve your value proposition. It makes the difficult strategy determination a less painful process.

The method we use is not like some “black art” but makes use of evaluation criteria that is able to be adjusted and corrected over time.  Once the strategy areas of opportunity are defined, we help determine goals, KPIs, and processes to support strategy execution.  All of this is done from the context of what SAP’s ERP, CRM, or BI products are capable of supporting.

SAP QA and SAP IMPLEMENTATION ASSESSMENTS or AT RISK SAP PROJECT CORRECTIONS

Sometimes a third-party appraisal is needed to find out why your project is showing symptoms that are causing you concern.  We are long-term industry veterans with many full-cycle projects and have done both implementation and upgrade project management–, we know what it takes to be successful.

We provide professional reports with what we analyzed, the basis for our opinion, and then what corrective actions might be needed to address any gaps.  If you feel as though your project is not where it should be, or that it is off track, we can provide you with the insight and experience to determine what you need to focus on success.

Key program management in IT is our specialty, beyond SAP, we have the capabilities to handle complex integration and IT issues across a wide range of disciplines.  We can handle all of the project activities necessary for success, including initial business and IT strategy, project preparation, blueprinting, project execution, preparation for live operations, to making it live and then ongoing support requirements.

SAP and Oracle IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTING AND STAFF AUGMENTATION

Highly experienced in the SAP arena we have a significant number of the most experienced and senior level SAP consultants anywhere.  These are what SAP typically refers to as “Platinum” level consultants. Most of our consultants come from industry and worked in industry before becoming consultants.  So they understand the practical requirements of real business.  They don’t just have book knowledge like so many of those recruiters by other consulting firms.  They’ve actually had to get their feet wet, roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty so they understand practical solutions to real business problems.

SAP RFP PREPARATION AND VENDOR SELECTION

We provide RFP preparation strategies to help ensure you are comparing “apples to apples” during vendor demonstrations and presentations.  Because we are veteran professionals we prefer to avoid a conflict of interests and we DO NOT participate as a competitive vendor in the RFP process (unless you insist).  We don’t require it but we do ask that you allow us to participate in any staff augmentation to the prime vendor, or to your own project team during the project.  If you agree we fully expect the staffing process to be competitive as well so that we are held to the same high standards we expect of implementation vendors.  We can provide the highest quality skilled contractors to supplement your vendor or your own staff during the project should that be necessary.

Our goal is to help you to avoid some of the common pitfalls that different vendors use to try to gain your business.  We work through equalizing strategies and other options to ensure you get a true cost comparison between vendors to prevent deliberate underbids or vendors who do not really have sufficient skills or qualifications.  This approach includes:

  1. Helping you develop an RFP strategy that focsuses on your business drivers for the implementation or upgrade.
  2. We help with initial or pre-project planning, scoping, and staffing requirements as a cross-check against vendor proposals.
  3. We work with you to develop an objective scoring protocol to evaluate vendors and ensure your business needs are met.
  4. Our RFP approach ensures that the presentations, demos, and vendor methodologies include the key content you need to make the best decision possible (including limiting the endless, mind-numbing 100+ slide presentations that are so common).
  5. We work with you to develop project and cost and control strategies to ensure you get what you pay for.
  6. We screen vendor consultants to ensure they have the background and experience they claim (the whole industry is filled with fakes).
  7. If you wish we continue to support your project efforts and ensure your project stays on track with the vendor you choose.
